Erica Burgess

I played NCAA Division II volleyball at East Stroudsburg University as a setter from 2014–2018. During my collegiate career, I recorded 1,803 assists, finishing 6th in program history. During my senior season, I ranked 2nd in the PSAC and 19th nationally in NCAA Division II in aces per set. I was also a multi-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and graduated cum laude with my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health.

Since finishing my playing career, I have spent more than four years coaching at both the travel and high school levels, including serving as a head coach for 15U and 16U teams in Virginia and Pennsylvania. I’ve had the opportunity to work with athletes of different ages and skill levels and especially enjoy helping players develop their fundamentals, volleyball IQ, confidence, and love for the game. Outside of volleyball, I earned my Master of Public Health in Community Health and am currently completing my clinical training as a Physician Assistant student at Towson University. I’m excited to bring my experience as both a collegiate athlete and coach to MVA this season!
