I started out as a volleyball referee my senior year of college when I went to school down at East Carolina University. I only refereed for one year down in North Carolina until I graduated and moved back up to Maryland. Since being back in Maryland, I have continued to referee in Baltimore County/City and Howard County for the past 6 years. I also referee club volleyball as well, so you may see me at local tournaments when I’m not coaching.
This is currently my third year coaching with MVA. I’ve been an assistant coach for the girls 16U regional black team for two years and assisted for the boys 15/16 team as well. This year ('26-'27), I will be head coaching the 15/16 boys team.
